Mrs. Bridges:
As you can tell by the picture, I enjoy fishing. My husband and I like to fish in the Pamlico River. We fish for flounder, trout or red drum depending on the season.
Our Boykin Spaniel, Rudy, fishes with us when it is not too hot for him. In addition to my husband and my dog, I have two sons. My sons have graduated from college and they are pursuing their dreams in other states right now!
I am looking forward to this unique year in first grade! This is my sixth year teaching first grade. I have also taught Kindergarten.
I graduated with a B.S. degree in Parks and Recreation Management from Western Carolina University. I worked as a Recreation Specialist for ten years for Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
My Elementary Education bachelor's degree is from North Carolina Central University. In 2013, I received a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education degree from East Carolina University.
I am looking forward to a great 2020-2021 school year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Bridges
